Matthew Halpern, MD

Dr. Halpern is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with advanced expertise in skin cancer treatment and cutaneous oncology. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Halpern then served as Chief Resident in Dermatology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University.

Following his residency, Dr. Halpern pursued a prestigious two-year fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University. This specialized training has equipped him with extensive expertise in treating complex skin cancers using state-of-the-art techniques.
