James Ko, MD

Dr. James Ko is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive expertise in medical dermatology, providing care to both adult and pediatric patients. A Baltimore native, Dr. Ko graduated with honors from Washington University, where he majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine.

Following medical school, Dr. Ko completed an internship in medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and returned to St. Louis for his dermatology residency at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital Consortium.

Dr. Ko’s clinical interests encompass a wide range of dermatologic care, from complex and general medical dermatology to the detection, prevention, and treatment of skin cancer. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Philadelphia Dermatologic Society, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology.
